Question
hey all. i run a selfhosted emby server i want to access remotely. i already know the cloudflare tunnels are used to serve http content and its against policy to stream my media through them. i was thinking of using a cname dns entry (non-proxied) to route traffic and dont know if its against any of cloudflare's policies. i dont see any, but thought i would double check here first before switching things.
Answer
If you create non-proxied DNS records, you can do anything with them because the traffic will not run through the Cloudflare tech stack which is governed by the relevant ToS.
